Kutagal, on a winter morning

Kutagal is a sleepy little village at the foot of a small hill-rise called Thimmappana betta, near Ramanagara in Karnataka. A small temple dots the hill top. Recently, this place has started to become popular among bike enthusiasts, as a neat getaway at 60KM from Bangalore.

We visited the place on a winter morning, hoping to catch the golden colors at sunrise. In hindsight, I guess sometime around the monsoon season might be better since there would be some clouds in the skies to make it a much more dramatic setting.

Having reached there well before sunrise, we were the only ones around. Here are a few images from that morning.
