Nagalingeshwara at Veerabhadraswamy temple, Lepakshi

The Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Lepakshi, AP is an ancient temple built during the days of Vijayanagar empire. It was built in the 16th century by Veeranna and Virupanna, the then Vijayanagara governors of Penukonda. Seen here is the monolith Nagalingeshwara carved out of a huge boulder.
