Would you believe me, if I told you that this is Radhanagar beach – the famous beach in Havelock island of Andaman?
Of course you would. This is the most photographed view of this beach. Look at all the people trying to get the sunset shot.
But, what about this image below? This does not immediately strike as the same place. Let me assure you, though, that it is in fact the same Radhanagar beach. I just had to wander around for 10-15 minutes before I found this spot.
I wrote a small piece for Nature inFocus portal, stressing on the importance to look beyond the most visited spots in popular tourist places. It might take all your mental strength to let go of that beautiful yet popular scene in front of you and walk away. But, what you can end up with, is a fresh new look at a very popular place, which not many might have come across. This image above, thus, became my most treasured capture from my vacation to Andaman islands.
